August 25, 2014, Tulsa, OK – Products from IMAX Corporation’s latest designer collaboration with Nikki Chu will soon be showcased on a new primetime series from Lifetime®.
Lifetime® premieres Girlfriend Intervention, an all-new unscripted makeover series where each week four experts – home and sanctuary guru Nikki Chu, beauty pro Tracy Balan, style and fashion maven Tiffiny Dixon and soul coach Tanisha Thomas – help restore one woman’s confidence and inner glow. In making over their wardrobes, beauty routines, homes and minds, the hosts teach these women how to embrace and celebrate their lives, speak their mind, lighten up and love themselves again. Girlfriend Intervention debuts Wednesday, August 27 at 10pm ET/PT.
Nikki Chu’s exclusive collection of accent furniture and home accessories debuted in IMAX showrooms during Summer markets and was met with enthusiastic response from retailers. A variety of IMAX products will be featured in home makeovers on the show.
For the past decade, renowned interior designer to the stars and prominent fashion accessory designer, Nikki Chu, has been known from Miami to LA for her exceptional flare, sleek designs and eclectic taste. Filled with a passionate love for design, Chu has accomplished a vast range of interior projects as well as fashion collaborations with some of the most accredited names in the industry. Born and raised in Toronto, Nikki embraced her passion for design at a young age and followed her dreams to the International Academy of Design in Toronto, Ontario to learn the tricks of the trade. She soon found herself in Miami as Creative Director for one of the top advertising agencies in Southern Florida. Nikki’s portfolio rapidly expanded and she found herself overseeing interior design projects for the Hollywood stars. Seeking the ‘Nikki Chu’ aesthetic, Access Hollywood sought after the acclaimed home designer for a post-election special featuring Nikki’s design idea for Sasha & Malia Obama’s bedrooms. Since then, Chu has been considered “THE” lifestyle & design expert for several TV networks such as HGTV, Fine Living, Food Network and E!. In Fall 2014 she will enter your living rooms once again on the Lifetime Network’s new makeover show offering design and decorating tips.
Her multi-brand empire continues to grow as well as her special projects. Launching Nikki Chu Home for IMAX is her current focus – a line of decorative home accents, with a MISSION to create an “affordable luxury lifestyle” that combines fashion and function all in one brand.
