As a top Independent Sales Representative with IMAX Worldwide Home, it seems Neil Wasserman was born for this gig. After graduating college, Neil jumped right into the industry and never looked back. Based in Ohio, he serves the customers of his home state, Indiana, Kentucky and West Virginia, with expertise and a profound enthusiasm. We sat down with him recently to learn a bit about him during a short Q & A session.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I’m married to my business partner, Ann, with four kids and one dog. I’m a competitive swimmer with Top 10 National AND World Rankings in my age group in multiple events… and I love to travel!
What do you love most about representing IMAX Worldwide Home?
The line is always coming out with highly desirable NEW product and its quick shipping.
Tell us about some of your favorite customer experience(s):
When I went to visit a long time customer of IMAX, she commented so favorably about the evolution of IMAX over the years. She remembered IMAX from its beginning as a small and narrow scope line to its present day broad offering of many good items at very attractive price points. She also mentioned that our customer service is excellent!
Which is your favorite market and why?
Atlanta Market is my favorite! I love the timing – at the beginning of the new year and then again, midway through it.
What aspect of your job gives you the greatest satisfaction?
My greatest satisfaction is delivering new catalogs and watching the orders that result. Some on the spot and some shortly thereafter, but all resulting from a combination of my excitement and IMAX’s fine offerings that are spot-on trend.
What is the secret to your success?
Diligence, persistence and excitement!
What are your 3-5 favorite IMAX products this season and why?
Difficult to pick specifics, but my favorite happening is the ever increasing interest in our Nakasa line.
