Introducing the Jerome Group! was last modified: July 31st, 2017 by Renee Walker
We updated our website with a fresh, new look today – and along with the new look, a new feature called Sales Rep Pages. Just by going to imaxcorp.com and clicking on the “Sales” link, you you can find your sales rep’s contact information (the individual rep, not just the group), and even send your rep a message directly from the website! You can search for your rep by group, geographic location or zip code.
It’s been almost five months since a devastating F5 tornado tore through Joplin, an eternity in a world as fast paced as ours. While our lives keep moving, it’s important for us to take pause and realize there are still displaced families and businesses in Joplin struggling to regain a bit of normalcy after their world was effectively ripped apart.
One such couple, Mark Fowler and his fiancé, Nikki Strome, lost their house and everything in it to the tornado. As housing in the area was initially in very short supply, the couple took residence at a nearby hotel while they searched for a new home. After several unsuccessful attempts, they finally found a new house to call their own, but are still starting over.
Mark’s coworkers wanted to help, but when asked of his need, Mark simply asked that they replace the work boots he bought just before the storm. His coworkers suggested their company could do much more for him than new boots, but Mark said he would rather they gather items for small children that lost everything.
IMAX National Sales Manager, Susan Andrulis heard about Mark and Nikki’s situation from her husband, who works with Mark. Susan saw a need, and helped arrange for IMAX to donate products to help the couple’s new house feel more like a home.
“We cannot explain how much we appreciate the items given to us,” said Mark. “They are amazing pieces to dress up our home.”
Here are some snapshots Nikki took of the IMAX products in their new home:
IMAX Worldwide Home is expanding their popular new ColorPOST with Connie™ concept at the High Point market next week. This well-received program – initially introduced in Atlanta during summer market – is designed to draw consumers into stores by satisfying their need for small, fast and affordable decorating changes.
The company has teamed with Connie Post, the home furnishings industry’s leading retail design strategist, to create ColorPOST With Connie™, an innovative merchandising concept incorporating a selection of IMAX products divided into appealing color stories. New collections include Meadow (green), Pure (white) and Passion (a customer favorite red) color stories.
IMAX Worldwide Home has announced the winners of six drawings for $750 in market travel money. Two winners were selected at each of the Dallas, Atlanta and Las Vegas showrooms during summer market.
In Dallas, the lucky winners were Joyce Keller of Keller’s Gifts & Variety (Modesto, CA) along with Sherri and Fred Witworth of Josephine’s LTD (Godrey, IL). Atlanta winners were Julian and Karla Binns of Roo Grayson Home Décor (Wichita, KS) and Deborah Neimeth of Happy Go Lucky (Jenkintown, PA). Las Vegas winners included Patty Chace and Franca Coletta of The Queen’s Chest (Campbell, CA) and Lynda Power of Designs Unlimited (El Paso, TX).
Sherri Witworth of Josephine’s LTD was one surprised but happy winner, stating, “I never win anything… I can’t believe it! We have been in business for 33 years and have enjoyed buying from IMAX for a long time.”
“We love to see our customers face-to-face and get to know what really sells. We value their time and want to give back a little to show how much we appreciate them,” says Al Bulak, president.
There’s no question, retailers love Carolyn Kinder. Maybe it’s the unique CK style, maybe it’s the great price point, but Carolyn Kinder intros are always a must see when visiting the IMAX showroom.
Here are this summer’s IMAX Carolyn Kinder intros for your viewing pleasure. Get them online in our online catalog, or at the upcoming Atlanta, Chicago and Las Vegas markets!
IMAX Worldwide Home is unveiling a new concept at the Atlanta Market next week designed to draw consumers into stores by satisfying their need for small, fast and affordable decorating changes.
The company has teamed with Connie Post, the home furnishings industry’s leading retail design strategist, to create ColorPOST With Connie™, an innovative merchandising concept incorporating a selection of IMAX products divided into appealing color stories.
“Each of the color stories has been chosen with an eye to what’s selling at retail right now,” Post describes. “Merchandised on flexible, movable display units, the series of decorative accessory pods simplifies the buying process for consumers. The concept also mitigates consumers’ fears of making costly decorating mistakes since each color story is supported with marketing messages that reinforce the idea that the products were chosen and color-coordinated for them by a design expert.”
“At IMAX, we understand that our retailers need solution-based concepts and strategies to bring consumers into stores now,” says Al Bulak, president, IMAX Worldwide Home. “We also realize that no matter where we are in the economic cycle, consumers are more thoughtful about purchasing anything today. Our goal in partnering with Connie is to supply retailers with traffic-building retail design concepts. This new program is designed to drive business now, and for that reason, all of the products that Connie has selected for the program are inventoried and available for next-day shipping.”
“Additionally,” Post relates, “the program was created to enable IMAX dealers to update their floors without the need for tearing down walls or major capital investments. It instantly adds an element of fashion and freshness to any retail format.”
Post will be appearing in IMAX’s Atlanta showroom to introduce the concept on July 15 and 16.
